FAQs

  • How do I order a wedding cake?
Please get in touch as soon as you have confirmed your wedding date to check availability with us. From this point we can book your complimentary online consultation where we can discuss the perfect design for your cake, flavours and other details of your wedding day.
  • Do you provide cake stands?
I do offer a range of cake stands for a small fee with a refundable deposit. I can advise on the most suitable cake stand to suit the design and size of your cake. This can all be arranged during your complimentary consultation.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £100 non refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date with us. This is deducted from the final balance which is due six weeks before your wedding day.
  • Can I choose a flavour that is not listed on your flavours list?
Our list of flavours are just a sample of our favourites, there are many more available. All our wedding cakes are bespoke so we will do our upmost to accommodate your wishes.
  • Do you cater for dietary requirements/allergies?
Yes, we do offer gluten free and vegan option. Please get in touch to discuss.
  • Do you offer cake tastings?
Cake tasting boxes contain 5 pre-chosen flavours that are available throughout the year. You can see more about our next tasting box availability here.
  • How do I know what size cake I should have?
The size of your cake depends on the design style and on the number of guests you will be serving. A finger slice of wedding cake is 1x1x4.5” and I would recommend catering for approx 90% of your guests. If your cake is being served as the dessert at the end of a meal then portions are typically 2x1x4.5” and I recommend catering for all your guests. There is also the option to add dummy tiers for design purposes if you wish for a larger cake or taller tiers but do not require the cake portions. We can guide you through all the options in your consultation.
  • If I want fresh flowers do you provide them or my florist?
Should you opt for fresh flowers on your cake I recommend ordering these through your florist so that the flowers are consistent with the rest of your wedding. I can make arrangements with your florist to have them delivered to your venue for me to finish on the cake.
  • What is your delivery radius and do you charge?
I offer free delivery within a 5 mile radius of our location in Worthing, West Sussex. A £30 set up fee is built into the cost of your cake. Please enquire about delivery outside of this radius during your complimentary consultation.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
In the unfortunate event that a cancellation is required I request that this be made known to me in writing. Please note that all booking fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date (except in very exceptional circumstances) The final balance is due to be settled 6 weeks in advance of your wedding date. From this point the full price of your cake is forfeited should you cancel your order. If due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to supply your order on the date agreed we reserve the right to source a substitution from another company for you. We will always do our upmost to fulfil our orders and cancellations on our part are only in exceptional circumstances. If a substitution is unable to be arranged then we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to you. A full review of our terms and conditions will be discussed during your consultation. Please contact us with any other enquiries you may have.
